Meet Our Team
Claudia C. Woellner
SCHOOL DIRECTOR
My name is Claudia Casagrande Woellner. I was born and raised in Curitiba, Paraná, in southern Brazil, a region known for its strong educational values and commitment to innovation.
My journey in education began in 1995. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from the Federal University of Paraná and completed specialized studies in Early Childhood Education at Universidade Positivo. After moving to the United States, I further expanded my academic background by completing studies in Child Care Center Operations, strengthening my expertise in early childhood education leadership and school administration.
My greatest inspiration has always been my mother and sister, both dedicated educators who served as teachers and school principals. Their passion for education and commitment to caring for others deeply shaped my values and career path. From a young age, I knew I wanted to become a teacher, and I firmly believe that the early years provide the foundation for a child’s success, confidence, and character.
Throughout my career, I have served as a teacher, preschool coordinator, and school director. I have been a proud member of the Key Point Academy family for many years, where I am honored to support children, families, and educators in a nurturing, engaging, and growth-focused environment.
I have been married for nearly 25 years and am the proud mother of two sons, ages 22 and 15. My family and I moved to the United States in 2016, and we are grateful to call it home. In my free time, I enjoy music, attending live concerts, traveling, spending time at the beach, and creating meaningful memories with family and friends.
For me, education is about more than academics—it is about building confidence, fostering curiosity, developing character, and helping every child discover and reach their full potential.
“Education has the power to transform lives, and I am honored to be part of that journey every day.”

Alexandra Naranjo
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
My name is Alexandra Naranjo, and it is an honor to serve as Assistant Director at Key Point Academy Aventura. I am excited to be part of this community and to contribute to the success of our academy by fostering a positive, nurturing, and welcoming environment for our students, families, and staff.
Originally from Quito, Ecuador, I deeply value family, faith, and culture in everything I do. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Strategic Planning from my home country, and I bring extensive experience in both educational leadership and administration. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about creating environments where children can learn, grow, and thrive while supporting educators and families in achieving their shared goals.
I have been married for 30 years and am the proud mother of Andrés (28) and Juan Fernando (25). I have dedicated my life to two passions: raising and nurturing the well-being of my children and pursuing professional growth in the field of education. In addition to my work as a business professional, I spent 12 years as a university professor, teaching courses in Business Administration, Marketing, and Strategic Planning. In 2019, I was appointed Secretary of Education for the Quito Metropolitan District, reporting directly to the Mayor and overseeing educational programs and services for 24,000 children and young people across 20 municipal schools.
These experiences have strengthened my commitment to educational excellence and reinforced my belief in the importance of strong leadership, meaningful relationships, and high-quality learning environments. At Key Point Academy Aventura, I am dedicated to supporting our teachers, partnering with families, and helping create a foundation where every child feels valued, confident, and inspired to reach their full potential.
My goal is to foster a culture of excellence through strong leadership, creative problem-solving, and a commitment to the continuous growth and development of happy, confident children.
I look forward to building meaningful relationships with our families and being part of each child’s educational journey. It is a privilege to support the growth and development of young learners during these important early years, and I am grateful for the opportunity to serve the Key Point Academy Aventura community. Together, we can create a positive, caring, and enriching experience that helps every child thrive.
