Welcome to Key Point Academy Aventura!

My name is Karla Rodriguez, I am the director of Key Point Academy Aventura. Originally from Brazil, I’ve called Miami home for over 33 years. Married and a proud parent of two grown up children aged 37 and 29, I also delight in the joy of being a grandparent to a 4-year-old granddaughter.

My academic journey began with a Psychology degree from UGF in Brazil, and over the past 25 years, I’ve continued to deepen my knowledge in early childhood education through various certifications. My passions extend to maintaining a healthy lifestyle through mindful eating and regular exercise, as well as contributing to the community by volunteering at the local animal shelter.

As the director of Key Point Academy Aventura, my mission is to create a secure, nurturing, and enriching learning environment for young children. I am deeply committed to fostering their holistic development, encompassing social, emotional, and cognitive growth. My goal is to play a pivotal role in shaping the foundational years of each child’s life, ensuring they receive the best possible start for future success and well-being.
